Qatar is slowly becoming a distant memory. I still have a few days of homelessness and wandering abouts, but the end is in sight. I am extremely excited about all the possibilities that the rest of the year holds. Being back with my family is all I really need, but I know that alot of exciting things are about to go down, especially over the next couple of months. Oh sweet July, I've been waiting for you!

Last weekend I had the oppurtunity to see Jenny Boyle perform here, 3 times actually. It was an exhilirating show. On a random whim, I decided to e-mail Jenny to ask for an interview. After a couple of days, no response. I assumed her schedule was packed, and didn't have time for anything that wasn't already scheduled. But, yesterday, as I was "squatting" in my old room here which I have dubbed, "The Wifi Hub", I got a message from Jenny letting me know that she had about an hour free and if I could meet her, she would love to do the interview. Completely unprepared, and seeming like a high school journalism student, I met up with Jenny and had a nice conversation. She was a very nice person, with some wonderful ideals and morales concerning her constant work overseas. I think it went very well. Watch for some sort of article appearing at Fensepost, ComfortComes, or somewhere in the near future.

In all the excitement of The Fenbi International Superstars' releasing their first EP on iTunes, as well as a few stores in the Portland/Port Townsend area, I decided it would be a good idea to re-release a previous review I wrote for their video, "Two Miles From Home" which features some fascinating animation from Temris Ridge (YouTube). You can find the review (again) over at ComfortComes:
The Fenbi International Superstars: Two Miles From Home [Video]
It's been featured as the headline for a couple days now, that is always exciting. And if you search your way over to the Album reviews, you will find a piece I wrote for Thom Carter's latest project Filmforests. A wonderful landscape art sound, check it:

And of course there is always Fensepost news:
Fense is cooking up another Fensecast, to be aired on Monday. And, one of my favorite artists from 2009 has released a 2 track danceable EP, check out that review here:
The Flying Change: Singer/Songwriter EP [Album Review]
Sam Jacobs (man behind the Change) is a brilliant musicians. This EP is a bit of a stretch from his last album, which you might (but probably don't) recognize the name from my Top 37 1/2 Albums of 2009.

Amanda Gonser has been keeping it local as of lately, but local for her station is still fascinating. Stop by Oppurtunity Knocks for a fascinating stroll through the wonders of the Basque Country.

So a wonderful film is going to be coming your way soon. Well, wonderful might be a stretch, but it should be entertaining to say the least. There is going to be a sequel for, ready for this....Showgirls! It appears to be a bit low budget, and very independent. Which is awesome! How is this relevant to anything? Well, the wonderfully talented actor Ted Alderman, who played Sheriff Ronald Trembath (hey! that's me!) in my good friend Steve Session's film Torment. Check out a teaser trailer for the film at their Website.

In other news, TART Productions might be a bit out of reach for the next couple days. I will still have access to my e-mail address. But, The Word and Facebook Page (and Myspace, but who goes there?) will be hit or miss for the next coming week or so. Feel free to e-mail me, tartproductions37@gmail.com. For about a week I will have a bit of reintergrating to do, so updates might be few and far between. Just do your daily checks, which I know you're all doing, over at Fensepost and ComfortComes. Whether I wrote it or not, it's going to be great
